2020 In Review

January 14, 2021

2020 was quite a year. Despite the uncertainties and adjustment to virtual life we had some great successes, all of which we couldn’t have accomplished without the support of our community.

In response to the pandemic we ramped up our online presence with

33 virtual meetings covering a wide variety of topics. In addition, our hardworking team put in over 8,000 hours of work toward sustainable transportation! As a result of our efforts, 25 new electric vehicle (EV) chargers were installed in the metro area and 22 fleets incorporated clean vehicles and technology into their fleet.

2020 was a great year for outreach too. We had over 1,000 social media posts across several platforms, created 30 informative videos, had over 30,000 website views, sent 28 newsletters to over 1,400 people and designed 38 new blog posts highlighting our members and stakeholders.

Our work is made possible by our stakeholders and sponsors. In 2020, we had 112 Stakeholders and 12 Corporate Sponsors. We also participated in our first Colorado Gives Day, a great milestone for our coalition. To increase community knowledge about EVs, we launched DriveElectricColorado.org, a website focused on consumer EV education. The website has had over 5,000 views since October! Finally, we hosted 20 EV Workshops and Ride & Drives throughout the year and with our help, over 155 EVs were sold through Group Buys in the Denver area.
