Drive Clean Colorado is excited to spotlight one of our members, New Day Hydrogen! New Day Hydrogen is a Colorado-based company actively involved in establishing hydrogen fueling stations for commercial fleets, municipalities, and transit agencies working to transition to zero-emission vehicles. Hydrogen can play a significant role in ZEV goals. Fuel cells powered by hydrogen offer comparable performance to the familiar diesel trucks we often encounter, including similar range and fast refueling. The distinctive feature here is that hydrogen fuel cells drive zero-emission vehicles powered by hydrogen rather than electricity.
“New Day Hydrogen, in association with the Colorado State University System, was recently awarded the DOT’s Charging & Fueling Infrastructure Grant allowing us to establish the first public-facing hydrogen fueling stations in the state of Colorado, which will be located in Fort Collins, Globeville/Denver, and Pueblo. We will continue to engage with Drive Clean Colorado for community engagement and fleet support,” said Buford Barr, COO of New Day Hydrogen.
