Drive Clean Colorado is a non-profit organization that delivers a variety of clean transportation programs. Our mission is empowering diverse stakeholder collaboration to accelerate the equitable adoption of clean transportation. We are a U.S. Department of Energy designated coalition in the Clean Cities and Communities partnership, connected to more than 75 other designated coalitions in country.

Drive Clean Colorado, formerly called Denver Metro Clean Cities Coalition, was one of the first coalitions designated as part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Clean Cities and Communities partnership in 1993. CC&C is a DOE partnership that fosters collaboration and innovation to advance transportation energy choices nationwide. DCC is part of a network of more than 75 DOE-designated CC&C coalitions that leverage expertise from DOE, national laboratories, and fellow coalitions to deliver objective technical expertise based on a unique understanding of local markets. As partners with DOE’s Transportation Technologies Office, DCC and our fellow coalitions build bridges between national priorities and local needs to support affordable, reliable, and secure transportation systems. We work closely with fleets to provide data to assess their equipment, access to new technologies and fuels, and support with grants and funding.

EV Expertise

We provide electric car ride & drives, workshops, information about tax incentives and coaching for consumers interested in EVs.
