Aurora, CO — JAG Logistics Center @ DEN (“JAG@DEN”) has recently installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for their tenants and employees at its park adjacent to Denver International Airport. This marks an important milestone in the company’s commitment to sustainable transportation and future-ready logistics facilities.
“After much anticipation, JAG @ DEN is excited to unveil these charging stations as an amenity for our tenants and their employees,” said Vicki Haber, Leasing & Property Manager at JAG Logistics Center @ DEN. “This installation reflects our long-term vision for future-ready logistics facilities and supports our clients in achieving their sustainability goals.”
The project was made possible through several Xcel Energy programs and funding from the Colorado Energy Office’s Charge Ahead Colorado Grant. Charger installation and technical guidance were provided by Winn-Marion, whose coordination helped ensure a smooth and successful deployment.
With support from Drive Clean Colorado’s local ReCharge Coaches, JAG @ DEN was able to identify and leverage local funding opportunities, navigate the Charge Ahead Colorado grant application process, and confidently move the project from planning to installation.
“Access to workplace charging is truly a game changer,” said Jenna Wyatt, Program Manager at Drive Clean Colorado. “It has been a pleasure working with Vicki and the entire JAG @ DEN team. Their persistence and commitment to seeing this project through has been inspiring. I’m excited to follow up in the coming months to see how many tenants and employees take advantage of this new amenity, and how many decide to make the switch to electric.”
As part of its commitment to empowering employees and tenants to make informed transportation choices, JAG Logistics Center @ DEN has also signed Drive Clean Colorado’s Watts@Work workplace charging pledge. Through the Watts@Work (W@W) initiative, Drive Clean Colorado works with employers across the state to reduce barriers to electric vehicle adoption by expanding access to equitable workplace charging.
Workplace charging offers a wide range of benefits for both employers and employees. It can improve employee retention, support clean air and climate goals, encourage EV adoption, and enhance the overall attractiveness of a workplace. Regardless of where an organization is in the evaluation or implementation process—including those that have already installed chargers—Drive Clean Colorado offers technical assistance, education, and ongoing support.
Partners like Winn-Marion exemplify what it means to “walk the walk” when it comes to EV infrastructure. In addition to providing installation expertise, Winn-Marion actively supports workplace charging across its own Colorado offices and continues to advocate for expanded access statewide.
“It’s always rewarding to work with forward-thinking partners like JAG Logistics Center @ DEN and Drive Clean Colorado who share our commitment to building Colorado’s EV infrastructure,” said Dan Blanchard, EV Business Development Manager at Winn-Marion. “This installation means tenants and employees at one of Denver’s busiest logistics hubs now have reliable access to convenient charging, and that’s the kind of tangible progress we’re excited to be part of.
“Winn-Marion is proud to provide the installation expertise, but the real credit goes to people like Vicki and the JAG Logistics Center who championed this vision from the start.”
The Charge Ahead Colorado program accepts applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. Organizations interested in implementing workplace charging are encouraged to connect with their regional ReCharge Coach for guidance and support.
