What about working in the clean transportation industry excites you the most?
What is your main mode of transportation?
I currently drive a Volkswagen ID.4 named IDA. My first experience driving an electric vehicle was at a Drive Clean Colorado Ride & Drive during the Denver Auto Show. From that experience, I knew I had to say goodbye to gasoline and make the switch. While I love driving electric and producing zero tailpipe emissions, living in downtown Denver allows me to often walk, bike, use rideshare, or take public transportation.
What does being a Clean Cities and Communities Coalition mean to you?
Being part of a Clean Cities and Communities Coalition (CC&C) is incredibly meaningful to me because it provides access to a national network of coalitions united by a shared passion for clean transportation and improving air quality. This network fosters collaboration, support, and the exchange of innovative ideas to achieve common goals. As the only CC&C in Colorado, DCC has the unique opportunity to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders— from private and public sectors to community leaders and members, from all corners of the state—all working toward the shared mission of accelerating the equitable adoption of clean transportation.
How does your work at Drive Clean Colorado impact the communities you serve?
As Communications Manager, I help make important information easy to find and understand. Whether it’s sharing details about funding opportunities, clean transportation options, or local resources, I aim to give people and organizations the tools they need to make informed choices. Through events, educational campaigns, and partnerships, I work to empower communities to embrace alternative fuel and zero-emission vehicles, reduce emissions, and improve air quality. It’s exciting to know that the work I do helps create healthier, more sustainable communities across Colorado.
Is there anything you’d like to share about yourself?
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Policy at CU Denver. In addition to my passion for clean transportation and air quality, I’m also deeply interested in ecology and conservation. Outside of work and school, I love spending time outdoors— whether it’s hiking Colorado’s beautiful trails or relaxing at a local coffee shop with a good book or catching up with friends.
