Managing a fleet in Colorado means navigating a constant stream of change — evolving technology, workforce training, budget pressures, and the ongoing question of what fuels and vehicles are actually going to work for your operations. The good news? You do not have to figure it out alone.

The DCC Fleet Working Group is relaunching, and we are building something fleet professionals have been asking for — a no-pitch, peer-driven forum where fleet managers across Colorado can get together in each other’s facilities, share what is working, talk through what is not, and learn from each other on the ground.

What Is the Fleet Working Group?

Building on the success of our previous eFleet Working Group, the DCC Fleet Working Group brings together fleet professionals from across Colorado every other month for in-person meetings hosted by member fleets — in their garages, yards, and facilities. These are not conference room presentations or vendor pitches. This is fleet managers walking the floor together, talking about the real stuff — electrification, alternative and renewable fuels, energy storage, workforce development, technician training, sustainability planning, procurement strategies, grant funding, and more. The agenda is set by the members, for the members.

Each meeting includes time for peer networking, a member-selected topic or discussion, and a tour or demo of the host fleet’s vehicles and operations. Meetings rotate around the state so that fleets from every corner of Colorado have the opportunity to host, participate, and be part of the conversation.

Our First Meeting: TransFort in Fort Collins

We are kicking off the year at TransFort in Fort Collins, where we will hear firsthand about their electric and CNG bus deployments and get a tour of their facilities and fleet. It is exactly the kind of on-the-ground, peer-to-peer learning experience this group is built around — seeing real vehicles, real infrastructure, and talking with the people operating them every day. Register here.
