Project Coordinator

 Job Description: Project Coordinator 

 

Drive Clean Colorado is seeking an ambitious Project Coordinator to coordinate with the rest of the team to initiate and set goals for projects; plan projects start to finish; deliver on processes, deadlines, budgets, and milestones to ensure that program goals are reached; conduct assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement; and communicate program progress internally and externally. 

Excellent problem solving and time management skills are important as are the ability to coordinate multiple projects with a variety of team players, flexibility, and the ability to engage with the rest of the team. 

Reporting directly to DCC’s Executive Director, this position will be an integral part of our growing team as the main contact for our projects for stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for various projects ranging from transportation electrification, hydrogen fleets, workforce development, clean school buses’ workplace development, EV awareness, and more.  

The Project Coordinator must have a strong interest in clean and equitable transportation, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with a variety of team players.  

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget, optimizing project deliverables, schedule, and budgeting 
  • Along with the rest of the team, provide active, on-going cultivation of stakeholders and sponsors.  
  • Organize and plan project tasks and schedules. 
  • Communicate project status to team, stakeholders and key project participants. 
  • Coordinate and communicate across regional and project initiatives to ensure optimal results without duplicating efforts. 
  • Regularly analyze, evaluate, report and improve projects. 
  • Support Clean Cities projects especially reporting and new projects to support sustainable fleets, community awareness and other Clean Cities work in the region. 
  • Participate in working groups and ongoing state-led meetings like the ZEV Workforce Development Task Force, Clean Transit / Community Access / Clean Fleets State Enterprises, CEVC Meetings and subgroup meetings. 
  • Support Drive Electric Colorado efforts including development of outreach materials, responding to requests for coaching, attending events, and other activities. 
  • Support the creation of educational content like guidebooks, tools, and other resources. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sustainability, environmental science or other related field. 
  • Project coordination experience a plus. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Working knowledge of the current state of the clean transportation industry, especially pertaining to environmental justice. 

Preferred Qualities 

  • Experience with CRM software (Hubspot) 
  • Experience with Teams and SharePoint 
  • Proficient in Spanish and/or ASL 
  • Experience with EVs and/or fleets

Engagement Coordinator

Job Description: Engagement Coordinator

Drive Clean Colorado is seeking an organized and self-motivated Engagement Coordinator to manage the workload, schedule and communication of the Executive Director, support the Board of Directors, and conduct engagement activities and communications that cultivate relationships with stakeholders. 

The Engagement Coordinator works primarily with the Executive Director to facilitate communication with the DCC Board of Directors, staff, and stakeholders by performing a wide range of administrative and office support activities to support the Executive Director in facilitating the efficient operation of the organization. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important to this role, as are good time management skills, a highly professional demeanor, and ability to prioritize work. The ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent and sound judgment are key to the success of this position. 

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinates the Executive Director’s calendar, including making appointments, travel and itineraries, prioritization of sensitive matters 
  • Coordinates the Board of Directors calendar and supports meetings and activities
  • Supports the Executive Director and others on the team in meetings, including preparing meeting materials, meeting notes, keeping track of meeting progress and follow up items, and preparing and revising correspondence and other documents, as necessary. 
  • Provides administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting material and reports, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf 
  • Plan, coordinate, organize and help at various company meetings, events, and celebrations, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary.
  • Works closely and effectively with the Executive Director to keep her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Serve as a key representative for the company, establish rapport with the Board, employees, stakeholders, and others. 
  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion. 

Minimum Requirements 

  • At least one year of professional office experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in various computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Google, etc.) 

 

Preferred Qualities

Drive Clean Colorado is looking for interns to join our team who have a passion for equitable and  sustainable transportation and environmental justice. We need team members who are collaborative and ready to put their problem-solving skills to work. There are multiple positions open: 

  • Drive Electric Colorado Intern with a focus on EV and EV charger education 
  • Southern Region Intern with a focus on our work in the southern part of the state (candidates must be located in this region) 
  • Denver Region Interns with a focus on our work in the metro Denver area (candidates must be located in this region) 
  • Mountain West Region Interns with a focus on our work in the mountain west part of the state (candidates must be located in this region) 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Assist in current project development as well as assisting in the rollout of new projects 
  • Support educational outreach and events, planning and promotion as well as attending events 
  • Assist in technology and infrastructure analysis and support electric vehicle and electric vehicle charging coaching efforts 
  • Measure and report on initiatives and projects, analyze survey data from events and other activities 
  • Develop newsletter articles and blog posts and help develop social media content 
  • Engage with stakeholders and communities on social media
