What makes your company stand out?
Polara Energy, along with our platform Cleo, delivers a fully integrated EV charging ecosystem designed to help fleets reduce emissions while maintaining operational reliability. Polara provides robust, future-proof charging infrastructure, while Cleo leverages AI to optimize energy use, charging schedules, and site performance.
Together, we enable fleets to electrify at scale with lower costs, higher uptime, and a significantly reduced environmental footprint—while also unlocking new revenue opportunities. Electrifying fleets doesn’t just cut emissions; it can generate real value.
Polara specializes in EV fleet infrastructure and software and has completed more than 150 projects across North America. We partner with fleet managers throughout their electrification journey—from infrastructure design to day-to-day charging optimization. Our flagship solutions include the modular CHRGPK charging infrastructure and Cleo’s smart charging management platform, both designed to deliver high-performance, scalable results.
Are there any upcoming clean transportation projects or initiatives you’re particularly excited about?
We recently delivered Canada’s first municipal vehicle-to-everything (V2X) charging station in Victoriaville, Québec, located at City Hall. This innovative installation allows energy to flow bidirectionally—charging electric vehicles while also enabling vehicle batteries to power municipal buildings during outages or peak demand periods.
The pilot aims to strengthen energy resilience, optimize energy consumption, reduce emissions, and limit reliance on diesel generators. It will serve as a model for scaling V2X infrastructure across the city, and local leadership has praised the project as a pioneering step toward intelligent electrification and community resilience.
We were also proud to be part of a pioneering project with Fremont Unified School District in California, where electric school buses equipped with bidirectional chargers are actively participating in PG&E’s demand response programs.
