EV WATTS FOR INDIVIDUAL DRIVERS

Are you a plug-in electric car driver in Colorado? Are you interested in seeing data on your individual driving habits? Do you want to accelerate the adoption of EVs and contribute to a nationwide project focused on improving EV technology and policies? If your answer is “YES!” to any of the questions above then we have the perfect project for you!

Join the nationwide Electric Vehicle Widespread Analysis for Tomorrow’s Transportation Solutions (EV WATTS) data collection and analysis project. This project was developed by Energetics and funded by the Department of Energy with support from Clean Cities Coalitions, like Drive Clean Colorado.

This project aims to collect and analyze EV performance data across the country and will provide key insight into how to improve the technology for future use. This is a fantastic opportunity for individual drivers who are enthusiastic about shifting transportation over to electric.

Participation is simple! We will work with you to get a FREE telematics device installed in your vehicle, which will gather data on your vehicle’s driving & charging patterns, battery performance, energy usage, and more. This data will be anonymized and compiled into a national database for analysis. The devices will be removed after 12 months of data collection and will leave no impact on your vehicle.

Upon the completion of the project, you will receive a personalized data package of your vehicle’s charging & driving patterns. If you are a data nerd or if you are just curious about what kinds of patterns you might see, this project is for you!

If you’re interested in participating, please review the Data Sharing Agreement here and contact Sonja at sonja@drivecleanco.org to get started. We can’t wait to have you join us, but don’t delay! The last day to participate is September 30, 2021.

If you are ready to start now, please complete this brief survey and we will reach out to you soon!
