Keep Going: Drive Clean Colorado Concludes Successful 2025 Drive Clean Summit & Expo

Over 230 Attendees, Dozens of Exhibitors, and a Parking Lot Full of Zero-Emission Vehicles Showcase the Future of Clean Transportation

Englewood, CO – February 26, 2025 – Drive Clean Colorado successfully hosted the 2025 Drive Clean Summit & Expo on February 26 at the Englewood Civic Center, bringing together more than 230 industry professionals, state agencies, municipalities, policymakers, and clean transportation advocates. Attendees engaged in expert-led discussions, explored an expo hall featuring dozens of exhibitors, and experienced a parking lot full of zero-emission vehicles, highlighting the latest in electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and renewable natural gas technologies. 

The event opened with inspiring remarks from Drive Clean Colorado’s Executive Director, Bonnie Trowbridge, emphasizing this year’s theme: Keep Going. 

Trowbridge remarked, “Clean transportation is an economic powerhouse. It creates jobs, provides efficiency and cost savings for fleets, boosts local economies, and honors our right to breathe clean air. Drive Clean Colorado is going to keep going. Our team will be working with communities across the state – large and small, urban and rural – to support workforce development programs, educate about clean transportation options, and connect our stakeholders with resources and to one another for peer learning and encouragement. Here in Colorado, we are leading the charge.” 

The summit served as a platform for stakeholders in the clean transportation sector to engage, collaborate, and share innovative ideas. The event fostered meaningful connections and discussions that are essential to advancing the cause of clean mobility across Colorado. 

An event highlight included the Drive Clean Colorado Stakeholder Awards Ceremony, which recognized outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of clean transportation. These awards celebrated the individuals and organizations that have demonstrated leadership and vision for clean and equitable mobility and transportation. The awards honored the following recipients: 

Fleet Leadership Awards – In recognition of bold leadership in accelerating clean transportation, the following recipients were acknowledged: 

  • EcoCycle 
  • Colorado Department of Corrections

Partner of the Year– In appreciation of a commitment to collaboration that accelerates equitable clean transportation, the following organization was recognized: 

  • New Day Hydrogen

     

Community Engagement Award – In appreciation of outstanding dedication to education, outreach, and advocacy that drives equitable clean transportation adoption, the following recipients were honored: 

  • City of Brighton
  • United Way of Morgan County   

These award recipients represent the driving force behind the advancement of clean transportation in Colorado. Their unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions continue to inspire and shape the future of clean mobility in the state. Drive Clean Colorado extends its gratitude to all awardees, members, stakeholders, and sponsors who made the 2025 Drive Clean Summit & Expo a success. 

Fleet Electrification Workshop – February 27 
Following the success of the Summit, Drive Clean Colorado hosted a Fleet Electrification Workshop on February 27. This event for fleet, sustainability, facilities, and operations professionals provided hands-on insights into fleet electrification, including an interactive ride & drive experience with zero-emission vehicles.
