CSU Sustainable Systems Engineering Workforce Development for the Energy Transition

On September 14, Colorado State University’s Systems Engineering Department will host Sustainable Systems Engineering Workforce Development for the Energy Transition at CSU Spur. This one-day workshop will bring together students, industry professionals, researchers, and other experts to explore the technologies, policies, funding opportunities, and systems thinking shaping the future of energy.

Drive Clean Colorado’s Program Manager, Desiree Moore, will speak about electric vehicle adoption as a systems challenge, including how charging infrastructure, utilities, policy, workforce development, and equitable access must work together to accelerate clean transportation. The workshop will also cover grid modernization and resilience, emerging energy demands, virtual power plants, nuclear energy, sustainability funding, and the water-energy nexus. Learn more.
