On November 1, 2025, Drive Clean Colorado joined Electrify the Speedway at the Colorado National Speedway in Dacono. Local cities pulled this one together — Adams County, Westminster, Louisville, Northglenn, and Brighton — with support from the Colorado Energy Office, United Power, Xcel Energy, Monarca Group, EV Plug Pros, and several dealerships.
People showed up ready to drive! Every driving slot filled, and 94 EV experiences went out on the track in the Ford Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, Nissan LEAF, and Rivian R1S. Pro drivers rode along to keep everyone safe and confident on the skills course. The Mach-E and LEAF kept topping the leaderboard, and the Rivian and Mach-E were the crowd favorites.
Off the track, folks got to check out 12 more EVs, from Tesla Cybertrucks and VW ID.4s to Chevy Bolts and Model Ys. Bilingual support from partners like the Monarca Group helped make sure everyone could jump in and ask questions.
Electrify the Speedway proved something powerful: when people can see, touch, and drive electric vehicles, the myths fall away and the excitement kicks in. Nearly 100 participants spent the day learning, laughing, and getting curious about what driving electric could look like in their own lives. That’s exactly the kind of hands-on outreach Drive Clean Colorado brings across the state all year long.
If you want to cut through the EV myths, get help bringing an EV event to your community, or learn what switching to electric could mean for you or your business, reach out to Drive Clean Colorado or check out our resources to learn more.
