Fleet Charging and Meet-Up

Drive Clean Colorado is hosting a Fleet Meet Up on September 9, 2026, in partnership with Xcel Energy. This convening will bring together fleet managers, public agencies, private sector partners, utilities, and industry leaders to discuss fleet electrification progress, infrastructure planning, utility coordination, funding opportunities, and lessons learned from projects across Colorado. 

This session will feature a presentation from Xcel Energy on its fleet zero-emission vehicle goals and progress, with a focus on how the utility is moving from pilot projects to broader fleet electrification. The presentation will highlight Xcel Energy’s experience with electric fleet planning, charging infrastructure, operational considerations, and lessons learned from deploying electric vehicles and equipment. 

The meeting will also include a site walk and equipment display, giving members the opportunity to see Xcel Energy’s EV bucket truck, mobile charger, and light-duty electric fleet vehicles in person. This hands-on portion of the meeting will provide additional context around real-world vehicle use, charging needs, and operational integration.
