Drive Clean Colorado is excited to highlight our longstanding member, Phil Long Dealerships. Phil Long is Colorado’s largest privately held automotive group with 18 locations in Colorado and New Mexico. Their President and CEO Kevin Shaughnessy spoke with us about the investments they have made to support the adoption of electric vehicles. Phil Long has spent millions of dollars installing chargers at their dealerships, providing specialized service equipment for technicians, and training sales staff on EV tax incentives. The group is focused on educating their customers about the benefits of EVs and helping them get comfortable with this new technology.

Through our partnership with Phil Long, they participate in Drive Clean Colorado’s annual Earth Day events, which include ride-and-drive opportunities and informative workshops. Phil Long notes a positive association between our EVents and EV sales, helping the dealer connect customers to the advantages of EV ownership. This collaboration has helped amplify Phil Long’s efforts to further transportation electrification.
