Meet Our Denver Metro Regional Manager: Jenna Wyatt!
Jenna is the Regional Manager for the Denver Metro area at Drive Clean Colorado and came on to the team in August 2023. After completing her bachelor’s degree in 2019 and an internship with the City of Aspen, Jenna moved home to Denver to complete a Master of Environmental Management and Policy at the University of Denver. There, she assisted the Center for Sustainability, the Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship & Learning (CCESL), and the Metro Denver Nature Alliance.
She is delighted to join the DCC Team, where her passion for clean and equitable transit can thrive. In her free time, she can be found enjoying James A. Bible Park, searching for the ‘best’ coffee in Denver, and researching the history of Denver.
What region do you live in and serve?
I am located in the Denver Metro Region, and I serve this region. However, I enjoy supporting all regions served by Drive Clean Colorado.
What is one project or initiative you’re excited to be working on?
I really enjoy supporting Drive Clean Colorado’s Watts@Work program. As someone who does not have charging at my private home, having a workplace charger is key. Supporting workplaces and employees has been a real joy of mine over the last year.
What sparked your interest to work in the clean transportation space?
What interests me most is equitable transit; my connection to the topic is rooted in my identity. Born and raised in Colorado, I have had the privilege of living in transit-friendly communities – riding my bike to class in Fort Collins, taking the bus to work in Aspen, and driving my EV to the park in Denver. I am hooked on clean mobility choices! It is essential to me to uplift clean mobility choices to make sure my fellow Coloradans have the ability to make clean transit choices.
What is your main mode of transportation?
My mode of transportation these days is my EV. I have had it for almost one year and have about 11,000 miles accumulated. A couple of my favorite locations to take my EV, are public events, Estes Park, and my local coffee shop!
