Do you want to help shape the future of mobility for underserved communities in the city? If so\, we invite you to join us for a special listening session hosted by Drive Clean Colorado and Fort Collins Utilities\, with a focus on creating an Equity Advisory Committee. \nWhat’s Happening? \nDrive Clean Colorado\, in collaboration with Fort Collins Utilities\, is hosting a community listening session focused on addressing transportation challenges and opportunities in Fort Collins. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts\, concerns\, and ideas on how we can improve access to clean\, reliable\, and affordable transportation options for everyone—regardless of income\, location\, or mobility needs. \nIn addition to your valuable input on transportation issues\, this session will also serve as a platform to identify potential members for a newly formed Equity Advisory Committee. This committee will play a vital role in ensuring that Fort Collins Utilities considers the needs of underserved communities when making transportation decisions. \nWhether you’re a resident who faces transportation barriers\, a community leader\, or someone who cares about social equity\, we want to hear from you. These challenges disproportionately affect low-income families\, people with disabilities\, communities of color\, and others who are underserved by current infrastructure. \nThis listening session will focus on: \n\nCurrent transportation barriers faced by underserved communities in Fort Collins\nOpportunities for improvement in public transportation\, electric vehicle access\, biking and walking infrastructure\, and more\nThe role of Fort Collins Utilities in supporting sustainable transportation solutions\, such as expanding electric vehicle charging infrastructure and promoting alternative transportation options.\nCreative solutions for making mobility more inclusive\, affordable\, and sustainable for everyone in our community\nRecruiting representatives from underserved communities to serve on the Equity Advisory Committee\n\nYour voice matters in this process! By participating\, you’ll play an important role in helping to identify the issues that need attention and the solutions that could make the most impact. \nHow Can You Get Involved? \n\nAttend the Event: Come prepared to share your experiences and ideas.
