SUMMARY:DCC Fleet Working Group with the City of Longmont
DESCRIPTION:Drive Clean Colorado will host the second DCC Fleet Working Group meeting on May 20\, 2026\, in partnership with the City of Longmont. This convening will bring together fleet managers\, public agencies\, private sector partners\, utilities\, and industry leaders to discuss fleet electrification progress\, infrastructure planning\, funding opportunities\, and lessons learned from projects across Colorado. \nThis session will feature John Gage\, Engineering & Operations Administrator with the City of Longmont\, who will share insights into the city’s renewable natural gas (RNG) initiative. The presentation will explore how the project fits within Longmont’s Sustainability Plan\, how waste is being converted into a fuel and revenue stream\, and key considerations around plant design\, construction\, operations\, project costs\, payback timelines\, and Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs). \nThe DCC Fleet Working Group serves as a collaborative forum for members to share real-world experiences\, address common challenges\, and advance fleet electrification and alternative fuel solutions across Colorado. As this is our second meeting\, we look forward to building on the momentum from our inaugural session. \nFor more information about the group’s purpose and structure\, please review the DCC Fleet Working Group Charter. Members are encouraged to reserve their spot by registering HERE.
